The Joseph Smith Papers is a collection of documents that tell the story of early LDS church history. It is compiled by the Church Historian’s Press and includes papers that were written, dictated, or drawn by hand by Joseph Smith. This compilation covers all aspects of Joseph’s life including his childhood in upstate New York, his First Vision at age 14, and the founding of Nauvoo as well as some other events during his lifetime.
The second volume of the Joseph Smith Papers Documents series has been released! The new book covers July 1831 to January 1833. This time period includes some of the most important events in Mormon history.
