Now, Roku offers the Mormon Channel, where you’ll find LDS content such as Mormon messages, Church films, general conference, firesides, radio series, and more. For example, you can watch the new Joseph Smith movie, which is only available through the Mormon Channel. 3,000 people subscribed to the Mormon Channel the first week it launched on Roku. At the beginning of the week, it ranked #25 and over a 7-day period reached a rank of #2 in the “Religion and Spirituality” section. It’s getting a lot of attention. A recent article at ZDNet about the gaming console on Roku 2 said “When you’re not playing Angry Birds, the Game Remote helps you navigate Roku’s 300-plus channels — from Netflix, the Mormon Channel to CNET.”
