Lee Library</a> Multimedia Production Unit created a video to encourage students to study at the library. <p>David Nielson, the Managing Director of the Church Audiovisual Department, talks about the various media initiatives the Church uses to convey the messages of the Gospel. He explains the steps and processes that such initiatives go through. He also talks about the many challenges his department faces on a daily basis and the talents of the many that come together as one team to create compelling media.</p>

<p>The Utah Social Media Awards recognize excellence in social media practitioners and practices throughout the state of Utah.</p>
<p>The judges said this was a great use of a very accessible media medium for an organization with a growing global audience. They praised the channel’s more than 24,000 subscribers and 1.5 million channel views as a great example of sharing inspirational video content in a social media environment.</p>

<li>Live audio and video broadcasts at <a href="http://generalconference.lds.org" target="_blank">generalconference.lds.org</a> in many languages. Watch video streams using the Church’s new video player in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and American Sign Language or watch video using Windows Media Player or listen to audio streams in 74 languages.</li>
</ul>

<p>Between sessions, watch live video broadcasts of The World Report of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a special broadcast about the new Latter-day Saint Edition of the Holy Bible in Spanish.</p>
<p>After the broadcasts, audio files will be available within one day and video files will be available in about two weeks.</p>
