About David Frischknecht
David Frischknecht is the Managing Director of the Curriculum Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Curriculum Department’s responsibility is to provide the scriptures, magazines, manuals, and other gospel materials to members of the Church and others. The scriptures, Gospel Library, and other gospel content on LDS.org are provided through the Curriculum Department.
David has been an employee of The Church of Jesus Christ for nearly 30 years with a three-year interruption to serve a mission in Guatemala. The first 20 plus years he worked in the Translation Department, including one year in Europe.
David’s interest with LDSMediaTalk is to exchange ideas for providing inspired and inspiring materials that help Church members be better disciples of the Lord. The overall plan for gospel instruction in the Church once resided comfortably in the print medium. Today’s technologies allow for effective gospel instruction through many mediums but we are still in the beginning stages of learning how best to do this.
