Teachings of Lorenzo Snow

by Larry Richman on December 30, 2012

lds-president-lorenzo-snowIn 2013, adult priesthood and Relief Society classes will study the book Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Lorenzo Snow.

The January issue of the Ensign and Liahona magazines has an article “Pickles, Turnips, and Testimony: Inspiration from the Life and Teachings of Lorenzo Snow” to help us come to understand a little better the life of President Snow.

The Church makes this manual available in various formats to make it easy to access and study the teachings of this great prophet:

To learn about the other manuals to be used in 2013, see the Instructions for Curriculum 2013 which is available on LDS.org on the page where you find all the manuals online.

Also see the article “Lorenzo Snow: Course of Study for 2013.”

I need the 2013, adult priesthood and Relief Society study book , Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Lorenzo Snow in Large Print and I find it neither at the distribution center nor online.

I don’t own and neither is there a Kindle or other electronic device in my budget to have large print readily accessible.

Is it available in Large Print this year or have we been overlooked?

Bill, yes the large print Lorenzo Snow book is available. Go to http://store.lds.org/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product3_715839595_10557_21235_-1__3074457345616903721

then on the language selector, choose “English, large print.”

Enjoy reading!

I don’t see this manual available in the Gospel Library mobile app yet. I’ve refreshed my content, still not there. Is it hiding somewhere other than the Manuals>Teaching of Presidents location? Thanks!

Debora, I have downloaded the Lorenzo Snow manual in my Gospel Library mobile app. Go to Manage Library, then select it to download it.

Thanks, Larry. I realized I had an old version of the app installed on my Kindle Fire, so I uninstalled it and installed the current version. I was able to get the manual. I teach lesson 1 on Sunday!
