Hyde Park Chapel Visitors’ Centre in London

by Larry Richman on July 13, 2012

The historic Hyde Park chapel in London of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been remodeled in preparation for the London Olympics, which will likely bring many guests to the chapel’s visitors’ center.

As part of the promotion of the visitors’ center, a new Hyde Park Chapel Facebook page has been created with pictures, videos, and an extensive timeline with the history of the Church in the region.

Scroll down the Facebook page timeline to see pictures of pioneer missionaries in England, significant events, historic visits, and several short videos about the history of the Church in the British Isles and the history of the Hyde Park chapel.

hello, I am competing at the London Olympics. My room mate is a member as well. We’d like to know where the closest chapel is to the Olympic village so we can attend church on Sundays. We’re both 17yrs old.

Celeste, just type an address into http://maps.lds.org and you’ll find the nearest chapel.
