counseling-resourcesThe Counseling and Resources section of the LDS Family Services Web site (familyservices.lds.org) provides help for the emotional and social challenges many of us face in our daily lives, such as depression, marital problems, parent-child issues, and pornography.

Check out the resource library on 32 topics, with articles from general conference addresses, Church magazines, BYU speeches, CES talks, and Church manuals. Topics include abuse, adoption, adversity, anger management, anxiety and fear, blended (step) families, caring for the elderly, communication, conflict resolution, depression, divorce, eating disorders, family, fatherhood, grief and loss, homosexuality (same-sex attraction), infertility, marriage, mental health, parenthood (child rearing, teaching and training), parenting (discipline and behavior problems), peace, pornography (sexual addiction), self-esteem, self-worth, single parenting, single-adult issues, special needs (disabilities, chronic illness), stress management, substance abuse, suicide, unwed parents, and womanhood. There are also links to community resources for many of the topics.

On the site, you can also learn about the counseling services available through LDS Family Services, and find a directory of all the LDS Family Services offices.
