lords-errand-thomas-s-monson_dvdThe Church has just released a new DVD which is a biographical overview of President Thomas S. Monson’s life and service in the Church.

This inspiring new video was broadcast between sessions of the October 2008 General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The video includes interviews with President Monson, family members, colleagues, and friends. It is explores the blessings of service and faithfully fulfilling Church callings. As President Monson states in the video, “The sweetest experience I know in life is to feel a prompting and act upon it and later find out that it was the fulfillment of someone’s prayer or someone’s need. And I always want the Lord to know that if He needs an errand run, Tom Monson will run that errand for Him.”

The 60-minute DVD contains the program in 14 languages: English, American Sign Language, Cebuano, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Tagalog, Russian, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin. It also includes English subtitles and English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing (SDH).

You can order a copy of the new DVD “On the Lord’s Errand,” pick one up from your nearest distribution center, or watch it online in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and American Sign Language (ASL).

Thanks for noting this. We have the streamed version at http://www.lds.org/move/index.html?type=conference&event=178&lang=english&articleid=068, and hopefully soon will have a downloadable version and will post links at videos.lds.org.

I’ve updated the post above with links to the English, Spanish, Portuguese, and American Sign Language (ASL). Sorry, it’s not available online for download.

Please remember to post the non-move networks streaming media links. mpeg2 or mpeg4 would be great, windows media would be OK, but move networks restricts viewing to users who can run the move networks plugin.

This movie touched my heart. I believe in Thomas S. Monson. He is truly a prophet of god.
