I have recently come across two intresting, and seemingly divergent topics:Prop 8 and Matt 25:31.
You may wonder what these two subjects have in common. I shall tell you. The LDS Church is being attacked for being "non-christian" for not embracing gay marriage. My experience as a non-member is that the Church is very much Christ in action. I was divorced, frightened, addicted to pain pills, lost my professional licence, and my home. I had so much greif and fear but the members of the church extended a hand in love and support. I received food from the Bishop's storehouse, vouchers for clothing, and the dignity of a job. Keep doing what you do best: living the lives of true Christians.I love all of you!

One way you can help avoid misconceptions with what group you represent is by putting your disclaimer on every RSS feed post as well.

Probably the most important thing is possibly being led astray if you testimony isn’t especially strong. Some of the blog sites can really be offensive, doctrinally incorrect among other things. On one site some users were talking about how they didn’t want to go to the celestial kingdom. The problem with the web is if you have any kind of problem which you need to work on; you can find 50 people that will tell you don’t worry about. Your just like us and your ok to be whatever you want to be.

Thank you for this reminder. There are a lot of interesting things posted on LDS blogs at times. The recent "talk" by Elder Packer in his home ward comes to mind. It's gone far and wide as a general warning to the whole church. It doesn't serve us well to post unverified things on our blogs like that.

I need to go add a disclaimer to my own blog - thanks for the warning.
