35% of those 10 billion were viewed on Google Sites (96% of which was on YouTube.com).

Interestingly, Firefox 3.1 (due out late 2008 or early 2009) will have the ability to play video without users having to install additional plug-ins. This version of Firefox will support Ogg Theora – a free video codec.
I expect that companies that provide video on their website will move to Ogg Theora. This will save them money because they won’t have to pay for servers to stream their media or create the media in proprietary video formats.
