As a Linux user, I can't watch Windows Media or QuickTime files. I tried to watch one, but then realized that it's downloading an FLV file not a SWF file as I had hoped. FLV and SWF are different things. The Adobe Media Player is available only for Windows or Macintosh so as a Linux user, I still can't view the files on the lds.org website without installing legally questionable codecs. Would it make more sense to provide SWF versions of the files so that anyone with any operating system can view these files? At first I was excited that these files were available as Flash downloads.
