Church Newsroom Videos Now on YouTube

Church Public Affairs now has an official presence on YouTube. Eight videos of Elder Ballard answering common questions about Mormonism were first posted on the Church’s Newsroom site, then posted on the new YouTube channel:

Thanks so much for pointing this out. I can’t wait to see what they’ll be adding to their channel in the future.

I’d love to look at them right now, except BYU has all of YouTube blocked.

That makes me nervous but it’s not under my stewardship, right?

I just watched one and then spent about 20 minutes looking at anti-stuff because YouTube plops all the links and related videos next to it.

The anti presence has got to be 1000:1.

Not that I think anti-stuff will have an effect on the stone that was cut out without hands–but it’s just like linking all the anti sites on the LDS.org homepage.

Found a glitch, above the image of a person with a camera, there is the name of the Church and the public affairs department in white on tan, can hardly be read. The search engines will get that OK but when we see it it’s unreadable.

Otherwise, this could be very good. Some interesting results already based on the number of hits on each of the first eight clips shown.
