I find this a daunting challenge, really. The mix of blog sites, gaming fansites, and other social networks I tend to visit tend to have a high number of intellectuals with a withering disregard, even contempt, for organized religion.

The voice of the Church, and the voice of Christianity at large, is rather dispersed. I think what may serve LDS webmasters and LDS bloggers best is consistent linking to official Church sites. This will, at the very least, increase visibility in search engine results.

Totally applaud this topic and the importance/opportunity for member to be out there on the net sharing their convictions and testimony of the Gospel through blogs, sites, articles and interactions.
We need more !

The last sentence of the commentary also resonated with me wherein the concept of complementing rather than competing with official church websites was communicated.
