Redesigned LDS.org is Live!

by Larry Richman on January 30, 2007

The new LDS.org is live! The cut-over last night went very smoothly, thanks to a very dedicated team of hard-working folks.

We invite you to browse the new LDS.org site. For a helpful guide to the site, read What’s New. You may also wish to look through the A-Z index, experiment with the search tool, or just click some of the main navigation menus. As always, we welcome your feedback.

For background on what we’ve done and why, see:

Just so you know, I’ve tried the new search feature and it is great! Not only is it easier to use and much more simple, but it actually seems to be returning better results. Thanks for the work you guys put into this.

I see an error. On this page, “Resource Guide for Young Women Manual 1, Lessons 25–49″ is listed below “Young Women Manual 1″, but the link goes to the Lessons 1-25 resource guide for Manual 2. (The link and text above “Related Lesson Materials” is the same thing and is correct.)

Thanks, Tanya. We’ll get that corrected.

I noticed right after the cutover that the links for Gospel Doctrine lessons on LUWS were broken. They’ve since been fixed to point to the new Gospel Library. However, the PH/RS lessons point to the old Gospel Library HTML lessons, could that be switched to the new Gospel Library as well?

Should be fixed soon.

I have lost my Patriarcal Blessing. I received it in Lima Peru 25 years ago. There is any way I can ask for a copy of that? Where I have to go. If there any way I can do it through the internet? Please let me know.

Thank you,

Carmen,

See page http://www.lds.org/churchhistory/archives/pbinfo for instructions on how to order a copy of your patriarchal blessing.
