You're right, I have been the product manager for LDS.org, but can't do it well with all the other responsibilities I have. So we're hiring someone full-time to manage LDS.org, and he/she will report to me. My role is still to coordinate all Internet activities for the Church. I've updated the About page to reflect that.

Sadly, I've seen a number of job postings with similar mistakes. For example, one job at Google required 4 years of AJAX experience, except that AJAX (at least as a buzz word) hasn't been around that long.

Say, Larry, this job posting seems an awful lot like the job you say you have on your about page. Are you replacing yourself with someone new?

You're right. The job qualifications call for 12 years in a technical or content field. I will change it to say that!

12 years of Web Product Management? 12 years ago was 1994, and the Internet was barely a blip on the radar of the public's mind at that time. 12 years is a LOT of experience to expect for ANY kind of web experience.
