Church member Dave Lopata keeps a free filter available for Mac OS X users available as well.

Another free filter, originally created by a local Utah company for businesses that was bought out a couple years back, and has 100,000 downloads so far, is available at k9webprotection.com
You don’t download a database, but every time you visit a page the software queries a server run by the company to see what the page’s rating is. Has the largest URL database of any known content filter service as well.
Specs:
Windows 2000 or higher
Most Pentium III or higher processors, especially the faster ones.
Works in recent MSIE and Mozilla browsers.
Takes about 300kb disc space.
Comes preconfigured for the most part. You just quickly set passwords, etc.
Doesn’t slow the speed of the webpage download at all.
